The ALPCA International Convention is run by the Automobile License Plate Collectors Association (alpca.org). It tends to include a vendor floor, an auction of donated license plates, committee and membership meetings, displays that are judged and other social activities. It was first held in 1955 in North Attleboro, MA and it moves every year. Contrary to the "International" in the name, it's only been held outside the US twice, both times in Canada. Arizona has also hosted it twice, both times in Tucson. |
