The Amazing! Arizona Comic Con was an annual comic book convention in Phoenix. It was run by the Amazing Comic Conventions organisation which hosts such events across the US. It was first run in 2011 and remained relatively consistent ever since, occupying a weekend early in the year at the Phoenix Convention Center. In late 2016, Amazing Comic Conventions cancelled both its Arizona and Houston events because of 'changes in guest policies, the comic market, and social climate', before adding that 'Phoenix and Houston are both strong fan communities with multiple genre celebrations throughout the calendar year.' Instead they plan to focus on their Las Vegas and Hawaii events. |
