Costume-Con is an active convention for costumers owned by Karen Schnaubelt that moves around the world and is organised by different local groups. It grew out of historical reenactment and science fiction fandom but has expanded to all costuming including anime, cosplay and the fur community. It was first held in San Diego, CA in 1983. Arizona hosted it once in 2012. |
