SkaterCon

Overview

SkaterCon (phxskatercon.com) is a 'multidimensional celebration of skateboarding and the rich culture that surrounds it'. It was founded by Adam Richards and is fan-driven.

While the first five SkaterCons were held in Phoenix, they shifted location after the COVID-19 pandemic. Year six was still held in state, but much further south in Tucson. Years 7 and 9 were in Lake Forest, California but year 8 was back in Phoenix and year 10 in Goodyear.

Notes

  1. SkaterCon 6 was postponed due to concerns over COVID-19. It eventually moved from 6th March 2021 to 26th February 2022 and from its usual venue at the Paradise Valley Skatepark in Phoenix to the Santa Rita Skate Park in Tucson. Even with such major changes, it retained its SkaterCon 6 numbering.
