Tempe FanCon is a free pop culture convention in Tempe run annually by the Tempe Public Library. It was originally named Tempe Public Library Comicon, under which banner it held four events, but it was later renamed in the wake of Comic-Con International's successful lawsuit against Salt Lake Comic Con, even though Tempe Public Library was not a party in that case. Initially it was branded Library FanCon but, before the 2019 event happened, it had become Tempe FanCon. |
