Yuma County LibraryCon was started in 2014 as Yuma County Library Comic Con, an an annual one day pop culture convention in Yuma sponsored by the Friends of Yuma County Libraries, Inc. and Fan-Quest Comics and Games. Imaginary Friends were a further sponsor in 2017. In 2018, perhaps due to wider legal concerns about the term 'Comic-Con', the event was re-branded Yuma County LibraryCon. |
