ZonieCon was a Tucson convention for the fur community that was held three times around the turn of the century. It was named after Mike-Scot McMurry's creation, Zonie Coyote. He had hosted a number of informal ZonieCons, which were more like fan gatherings, but they grew into a convention proper in 1998. The event ceased soon after McMurry's death in 2001 and an attempt to restart the event in 2011 failed. |
